Beggars Belief are a professional ceilidh band who can add a new dimension to any event. Based in South Yorkshire (Sheffield/Worksop area), we will travel anywhere in the UK (contact us for a quote).We play live music on traditional instruments: piano accordian, guitar and electric bass, enhanced by programmed keyboard drumbeats. A dance caller is included for lively, fun barn dancing to jigs and reels with trance and rock beats.Between the dances, we sing traditional songs as well as covers of bands such as the Pogues, Waterboys, Proclaimers and Levellers. All P.A. equipment is provided and if your venue doesn't have adequate lighting we can bring a professional stage lighting package - it really gets your event into the party spirit.
